Cross County Skiing, Snowshoeing, & Winter Hiking
While there are no groomed or tracked cross-country ski trails exclusively for skiers, there are prime areas ready for you to lay your own tracks by ski, snowshoe, or boot.
The Hank Aaron State Trail west of 37th Street/Valley Passage, the Brewers Stadium Segment along the Menomonee River by American Family Field, and the Three Bridges Park Segment are not plowed and are open to all non-motorized users, including skiers, hikers, and snowshoers.

Winter History Hike
The Valley is filled with history - and one of the best trails around that will take you to nine locations on a 2.2 mile route. When there’s snow on the ground, this route can be a bit challenging!
Public Art Hike
The Valley features art by local as well as national artists. Most pieces are related to local culture, history, or nature.
Take an epic one day hike or divide it up for a few outings!
H-D Museum Campus Walking Tour
Explore the campus of the world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum with this self-guided walking tour. This 20-acre site is the place to see and experience Harley-Davidson® history and culture.

We’re lucky to have a 24-acre park right in the heart of the Valley! Take advantage of the wonderful outdoor activities all winter long.

Hike to the Domes
This two mile loop takes you through the beautiful prairie of Three Bridges Park with a stop at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Domes. Stop at the Domes to feel the heat of a desert oasis or a tropical jungle!

Winter Nature Walk & Scavenger Hunt
Stroll through the Valley’s natural spaces, like Three Bridges Park or the Menomonee Valley Community Park, and see how many of these items you can find. Double the frosty fun and make memories with a selfie each time you find an item. Use #frostyfunmke so we can follow your adventure!
