Public art in the Valley
The Menomonee River Valley is filled with public art! Below you will find a map that shows where all of the Valley art is located. Click on the map marker to learn about the installation. Following the map, there are a number of videos you can view, many by the artists themselves, when you arrive to learn about the materials used and the inspiration behind the artwork.

Hillclimber
Harley-Davidson Museum, 400 W Canal Street
A Place to Sit
Emmber Lane & W Canal Street
Featuring artist kathryn e. martin, this video goes behind the scenes about the inspiration for "A Place to Sit." This sculpture piece is located right off of N Emmber Lane and W Canal Street. The public art installation features high-backed chairs that honor the “spirit and people” of the American Native American tribes that called the Valley home.
Gazebo and Menomonee Boulder
3200 W Canal Street
Right at the entrance to the Merrill Park neighborhood, these two pieces tie the Valley the its northern neighbors. Learn more about the project from artist Peter Flanary.

The Warehouse MKE
Guardian Fine Art Services - 1635 W St Paul Avenue
The Warehouse regularly showcases various exhibits and is free to the public. The gallery consists of 4,000-square-feet of modern contemporary art and exhibitions are pulled from the Serr/Shannon collection.
