Program overview
MVP is a sub-recipient of a MobilISE grant to address last-mile challenges for the Valley workforce. This grant allows MVP to reimburse you for work-related rides for your employees. Eligible rides include emergency rides to work when a carpool falls through, a car is in the shop, a bus is missed, unexpected overtime is needed, etc. Reimbursement is available until June 2025, or until funds last.
How it works
Step 1: See if your business is eligible. It's easy - just fill out a quick eligibility form. Most businesses are eligible if you are located in the Menomonee Valley BID #26. We will reach out to confirm your eligibility and have you sign an MOU to participate.
Step 2: Set up your Uber and/or Lyft Business Account. All reimbursable rides for employees must be ordered through your Business Account, and should be managed by a company leader such as the employer or shift manager.
Step 3: Begin ordering rides as needed. You can now use your Business Account for employee rides. You can designate an employee(s) who can order rides for your employees or authorize employees to book their own rides. This account will automatically track the rides that you will submit for reimbursement.
Step 4: Submit your ridership reports to MVP by the 15th of each month.
Download your ridership reports through your Business Account.

Be sure to adjust the dates for each month’s report (ex: May 1-31). This will be in the form of a .csv file.
Open that file and remove any columns with personal data about employees such as name, ride address, etc. We do not want personal data, and it is not required for reporting purposes. The required data for reimbursement includes: Ride ID, Dates & Times, Distance, Duration, Ride Fare, Fees, Discounts, Tips, and Overall Ride Costs.
Submit your reports by the 15th of the following month (for example, if you're submitting your May report, please submit your report by June 15).
Step 5: Receive Reimbursement. You should receive a reimbursement check within 30 days of your reporting.
