Enjoy lunch in the outdoors amidst native plantings with a backdrop of Roxie Beane strumming acoustic covers by a range of artists. Due to popular demand, we’re returning to the shaded eco-area on W St. Paul Ave between the Intermodal Station and the Department of Natural Resources building (1027 W St. Paul Ave) next to Brass Light Gallery.

About this Space
The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), the City of Milwaukee, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation collaborated on a green infrastructure project, with added community amenities, under I-794. This 16 acre site has the capacity to capture 293,000 gallons of stormwater runoff from the interstate that will ultimately protect water quality of the Menomonee River and Lake Michigan. It also adds connections and walking paths from the Valley to the street grid to the north.
This event is part of 2022 Valley Week, presented by Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. Valley Week is an annual event that invites you to explore and experience Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley!
You are invited to explore and experience the Valley at more than a dozen events in just one week. Including a happy hour river cruise, hard-hat tour, outdoor movie, kayak tour, and so much more, Valley Week showcases some must-do unique Valley experiences!
Proceeds from the events support Menomonee Valley Partners, a nonprofit organization formed in 1999 to revitalize the Menomonee River Valley.
