The City of Milwaukee, MMSD and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are seeking to reduce the amount of runoff that enters the local waterways from the 1-794 highway to improve water quality and quality of life.

They want to hear your ideas about this stormwater management effort funded through the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Green Solutions Program.

This green initiative will also consider future options to improve the space under the freeway with better connectivity, visibility, and community amenities. Please join us and be part of the decision making process to create a vision for this I6-acre site in Milwaukee's vibrant downtown.
